Advanced Rope Rescue Technician

Service Description

This course will train students to the NFPA 1006 Standard on Rope Rescue Technician. Students will receive intensive hands-on training in applying skills in advanced high and low angle rope rescue situations. Students will learn the physics of rope systems, advanced high directionals, high-lines, track-lines, patient packaging, litter-tending, directing a technical rescue team, and much more. Course Requirements: This class is designed for individuals who desire to master the craft of rope rescue and those who have prior rope rescue training and experience. Students will need to provide their own PPE to include NFPA Class-3 Harness, Helmet, Safety Glasses, and Gloves. Class is limited to 16 students.
